Marina Mesin Žagar

Prior to joining USC, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics & Business where she taught strategy and corporate governance classes on the undergraduate and graduate level. Marina is a corporate governance scholar with expertise in the corporate governance of EU and transitional economies. Her research and professional interests lie at the intersection of corporate governance, strategy and finance. She is a founding member of the Croatian Institute of Directors, where she served as the first female President.

She lives in Los Angeles with her husband Marko and their Wheaten Terrier Bo.
